ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WERE ALREADY SETUP WITH THE COMELIT APP. We recently turned on the system officially and unfortunately if you were registered already, on 3/13/2024 you will be deactivated. But the process of reconnecting the app is simple. Watch this video tutorial!

If you don’t have success, please sign up using the form on the website or drop by the management office to ensure the correct email is on file. Please use that same e-mail address when creating an account for the Comelit app. It’s important that they match.

  • I tried to setup the app, but when I press (door-entry) nothing happens.

This is most likely because your e-mail address that you created for the Comelit account is not on file with Parkchester’s Management office. You have to fill out this form and wait for them to add you to the system. You will receive a welcome e-mail once you have been added. Then you can retry the Comelit app.

  • What e-mail address does the “Welcome e-mail” come from?

  • What about my key fob to get into the front door?

We haven’t made any changes to this system, the key fob system is a separate system and has nothing to do with the intercom system.

  • I don’t have a smart phone, or a phone that supports Apps.

This is fine, you can receive the intercom call as a standard telephone call. When you get the call, after you speak with the person at the front door, press *9 to unlock the door. Your Home number and or Mobile number MUST be on file with Parkchester’s Management office. Sign up form

  • I called my apartment from the intercom, and my phone number didn’t ring.

Please reach out to management and ask them to add your phone number to the system. Sign up form

  • Is there a cost for the app or any of this service?

100% FREE to all Parkchester’s residents.

  • I need tech support, I spoke with management and my e-mail is on file. I received the Comelit Welcome e-mail but I got stuck. Help!

No problem, press Tech Support. You can either use our chat bot, or e-mail us and we will reply within 24 hours. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible about your issue. Please let us know what building, and apartment number you live in to help speed up the process.

  • When I open the app, my connection indicator dot on the top right of my app is green. But I don’t see any video.

The app will only show you video when someone calls you, go ahead test the system (call your apartment) at the front door to try it yourself.

  • I see many Comelit apps in the app store, which one is it?

  • What happens when I get a new phone, and want to use the app on the new device?

    The app is linked to your e-mail address, so when you get a new phone. Download the Comelit app, and sign in. Press (Door Entry) it will kick out your old device and enroll the new phone. There is no need to contact management to do this.

  • What happens if I get a new phone number?

You will have to contact your management office and have them update your Home and Mobile number.

  • Can other people within my apartment have their number in the system, can they have the app too?

Only registered residents within Parkchester will be approved to have their number or e-mail address added to have the mobile app.

  • Can visitors see me from my apartment at the front door?

No, it is only 1 way video. You can see the lobby, they can not see your.

  • I forgot my password, and I had some issues with setting up the app.

If something just doesn't seem right, feel free to delete the app and start again. Head over to the app store and re-download it and log back in with your email address and password you created. If you forgot the password, there is an option on the login page for "forgot password" it will email you a link to reset your password.
